Neuro: has to do with the workings of our brain and our thoughts, emotions and memories in effect how we think. . Linguistic: is about the language we use in order to communicate our thoughts and feelings and this can be both verbally or physically (eg. body language)
Programming: refers to the habitual modes of thinking we engage in daily, in other words our habits. We do them so often that they become programmed into our brain and they can be either resourceful and have positive benefits or unresourceful and have negative results.
NLP recognizes that all behaviour has a structure, which can be learned, taught and changed, for example, negative habits can be changed to positive habits, by allowing us to understand why we and others do what we do and get the results we get, which can be empowering in all areas of our lives such as;
Every behaviour is useful in some context, though not always appropriate, however while people always make the best choice available to them at the time, and indeed some choice is better than no choice, NLP offers more choices by addressing the beliefs that limit our success.
