If you are concerned that this page is designed to teach readers how to convince  crowds of people to act like chickens or dance to an unheard tune with a carefully placed keyword, you can .... relax. 

While Hypnosis is often presented in that form, with large crowds visiting celebrity Hypnosis experts, to see what wonders they can perform, the majority of hypnosis is used to aid people who are seeking a solution they can not resolve with any other method.

What Hypnosis is not.

Like many things that have become popularized by celebrities, there are a few misconceptions about hypnosis that we need to make clear to begin with, so before we look at what hypnosis Is, let's look at what it is Not.
Hypnosis doesn't mean that you are allowing someone to control your mind as no one is able to control our minds. What it does do is help us to resolve our problems, answer our own questions and trust our own strength and power.

Hypnosis is not the same as sleep. While you move into and out of an hypnotic state as you as you fall asleep and again as you wake up, hypnosis is that time between wakefulness and sleeping, a relaxed state where you drift between conscious and unconscious thought.
Hypnosis can't make you do anything you don't want to do as you are always in control of your own mind  therefore before you begin any course of hypnosis you should be sure that the new patterns of thinking that you are working towards are what you want to achieve and change. It is important to to know what it is that you want to adapt change and replace in order to achieve success.
Hypnosis is used across a broad range of areas from business, to health and fitness, to relationships.
